Ioana has been the General Manager of Ipsen UK & Ireland since March 2024.

She has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years, most recently as GM of Ipsen in Poland. A former consultant at McKinsey in London, she led large-scale commercial strategy and transformation projects for a range of global pharmaceutical clients.

Following this she moved in-house, working for Amgen where she spent 5 years in local, regional and global roles including Director of the Oncology Business Unit in Italy, and Global Commercial Capabilities Director. 听

Ioana graduated from the Academy of Economic Sciences in Bucharest with a degree in Economics and International Business and holds an MBA from London Business School.
