NIHR guidance on inclusivity in clinical research
The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) commissioned in 2017 to provide funders, researchers, and delivery teams with guidance on how to make clinical research more inclusive of under-served groups. The guidance includes a summary of what an under-served group is and the barriers they may face accessing clinical research, a roadmap of intervention points researchers can use to improve inclusion, and a framework to guide the design of inclusive research proposals.
The 麻豆社partnered with the NIHR to help co-design NIHR-INCLUDE鈥檚 guidance and sits on its Steering Group to help disseminate the guidance to our members and promote its uptake.
