Ikebana artist and actress Yoa Mizuno was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. At a young age she began studying various art forms including ballet, music, kimono, acting and Ikebana (Japanese flower sculpture). She received her Ikebana certification at the age of 18. These experiences would help cultivate a deep artistic sensibility which she would later draw upon in her Ikebana work and acting career in the United States. She is based in Los Angeles, California.
